Greetings.

Well, it's been almost a week now since I stumbled upon some videos on the internet that led me to do some research into the events surrounding September 11th.  I've spent nearly every waking moment since then gathering information and piecing together  the clues. 

That this administration would massacre its own people and go to amazing lengths to cover it up is really not much of a leap for me - I stay informed about the crimes that this administration is committing daily and it is clear that we are not "their people."  George Carlin accurately said of America's ruling elite, "It's a big club, and you and I AIN'T in it."

The mind boggling part, for me, is just how deep the rabbit hole goes and how easily we are led to believe that those who question the government's involvement in the events of, and leading up to, that day, are a bunch of lunatics who have already been debunked, again and again.  Of course, two minutes of internet research easily uncovers the vested interest that the "debunkers" have in perpetuating the 9/11 myth.

But what I'm really interested in, is how other truthers are handling the responsibility of this knowledge.  I made the mistake of blurting out what I had learned to my girlfriend because I really needed to talk to someone.  So I spilled the beans and I was abruptly commanded to don the dunce cap and sit in the corner.  The fact that I had come across this information on the internet meant that I was a drooling dullard who could not be trusted to separate fact, i.e. traditional media narrative, from fiction. 

From further conversations, it is clear that she does not want to know the truth.  I have to accept that she has made the choice to remain ignorant and it leads me to the question, how do I know whom I should tell?  Who is ready to accept the burden of this knowledge?  I feel like I need to raise the issue with the people I care about, but can they handle the truth, especially if they don't feel the urgency?  I assured my girlfriend that, the more you know, dark as it is, the better you feel as you become empowered.  Without a real grasp of the information that is out there, she sees only the sadness and the burden and she does all she can to avoid it.

Unfortunately, it seems to me that things are going to have to get even worse before they get better.  Another stolen election in 2008 may lead more people to investigate what is really going on in this country, but won't that be too late?  Are we going to make the same old excuses for the democratic party and believe that they are really any different?  Are we going to wait for 2012 and try again with the same hope and optimism?  What will it take to finally wake the people and stir them to action?

I'd like to conclude with a heartfelt, THANK YOU to those of you who have long been speaking out about the lies we're being fed by the administration, their surrogates - the 9/11 commission, and their accomplices - the corporate media.  I have tremendous respect and admiration for your resolve and your fortitude.  I hope that, with your support, I can find the courage and wisdom to do my part now that the path has been revealed and I am willingly plummeting down the rabbit hole.

Hi Jeremy,

Welcome to the difficult road of discovery when you first learn to see 9/11 through different eyes.  I will share a few of the things that I learned that might help you with your friends and family.

My son, who was 23 at the time, started pummeling me with facts about bldg 7, no plane hit the pentagon, controlled demolition, Rockefeller, Federal Reserve, Banksters, sheep, Illuminati and pieces of new evidence and historical facts that proved that a small group of men wanted to control the world!  For months he ranted and we argued  "Impossible!".  After a session on how the Pentagon was never hit by a plane like "they" said it did...  I was thinking What!  WHAT!   I was worried about him.  I started to Google 9/11 Pentagon and after the first few minutes of clicking links I was looking at a picture of the Hole in the Pentagon before the section fell.  The one with the Airliner superimposed and ready to crash.  You know the one.  

When I looked at that picture I thought, "This can't be right!  Small hole, big plane."  This was my Ah-Ha moment where I thought "what are they doing?  If they could do this then What ELSE are they doing?"  We all come to that moment and in one way or another go through a frenzy of research hoping to find holes in these crazy theories so you could get the knot out of your stomach.  But it doesn't happen.  You find that the evidence is overwelming mentally and emotionally.

I went back to my son and told him that I now realized that he had been right about 9/11.   I was also honest and told him that his delivery had "Sucked!"  Together we talked it out.  Too many facts,  too many names, too broad a historical scope.  You can't go back to the Rothchilds in the mid 1700's right off the back.    I told him that if I had just seen some pictures or a video of the towers falling and then bld 7 I would have been more curious and open.  We have continued to discuss the current and historic presedence events and helped each other climb down the rabbit hole together. 

I had often talked to my 76 year old father about my son's political thriller ideas and my worries about his agitated state of mind.   One day I said to him  "...you know that stuff that B has been saying about 9/11?" My father roled his eyes "Yay".   I said "I think he's right".    As you might expect he was not expecting it and before he could pick up his chin I said, "Before you say anthing thing just look at this."  and I showed him the Pentagon picture.  He looked at it.  Asked a few questions and then said "That don't look right!".  From there I showed him the towers falling again with the squibs, symetrical top down dustification and then blding 7.   Within an earnest 20 minutes my father was a convert.  "They Lied!".   He has gone on to copy at least 700 DVD's that have been distributed throughout the Seattle area by members of 9/11 Truth Seattle.

From there my entire family has been introduced to the facts and the background issues slowly and over time.  Hopefully always with patience and compassion for those who have to come to grips with this issue and it's implications.  It is more difficult for some that others.  One step at a time.  

My current approach when talking to new people is to ask if they are aware of all of the Generals, CIA Executives, FBI Agents, Foreign Member of Parliment, Architects, Engineers, Pilots and Professors all over the world are demanding a new Investigation into 9/11.   Most of course say no.  Then I say that the  scariest thing is that they are beening discussed openly all over the world but our Corporate Media is owned by the same people who own or provide the finacing for the Military/Industrial Complex and they are intentionally suppressing and distorting the evidence.

A typical response is "Know WHAT!?!  What is going on?"   I have fould that if you lead with the "Authoritive Sources" position and then mention why the Media is not talking about it here.  Most people then want to know.  They are open.  They start to inquire.  But most importantly is that they stop looking at you like you are Nuts!.  They may not start handing out flyers.  They might not be able to get their head around it at first but it is important for them to realize that it is not "Crazy".  Scary yes.

Thank you so much for taking the time to thoughtfully respond to my post.  Your words and advice are very encouraging. 

I most certainly did go WAY too far when I started talking about this to my GF.  I actually came to the 9/11 truth after first discovering the CFR, Illuminati, et al., and I have paid too close attention to the players in that group, and their nefarious deeds, to ignore the writing on the wall.  More digging uncovered the real 9/11 conspiracy and, for me, it all came together in an instant.  But, like your son, I launched straight into the "world domination" stuff and, well, you know where that led.

Right now, the most difficult part of having this knowledge is the loneliness that I'm feeling.  I absolutely must meet others with whom I can talk openly about what I have learned.  Though I’ve been feeling isolated and alone, I'm awestruck and comforted by the videos that I've seen of concerned "truthers" risking it all to get the message out.  Their actions, their strength, their resolve make me, once again, proud to be an American a human being.

I'm currently reading all I can so that I can be in a position to join the struggle in a meaningful way.  Knowledge really is power and the more I learn, the stronger I feel.

I will definitely be there for the meeting on the 5th.  I'll be the bewildered, big guy with the goatee.  I hope to see you there.
